BALLET WITH MISS TILLY

Miss Tilly’s standards of excellence come from her own professional training. Her early teaching experience was with the Christensen brothers, the founders of San Francisco Ballet School and Company. The dancers trained by the Christensens have always been among the most successful in the world of professional dance.

Through her program, children ages 3 to 6 will learn coordination, musical awareness, and rhythm development. Miss Tilly believes in utilizing live music to instill the love of dance and movement. She also believes that teaching children is more than just teaching dance. It is helping them learn to focus, to develop listening skills, to display discipline as well as respect for themselves and others. All of this learning happens in a joyful, warm, and supportive environment.

As the boys and girls reach the end of the year, they work toward performances at the Herbst Theater in San Francisco so that family and friends can share in their success.
